Whoever knows what makes Daniel Bejar change or not change, but he’s never released an album that wasn’t worth listening to. Labyrinthitis sounds like Bejar auditioning for his own version of LCD Soundsystem, and honestly, it works. Is Bejar on the side of labor? It seems so, but maybe I don’t care. I love the disco ladder that holds Bejar up when he sings,  “A snow angel’s a fucking idiot somebody made, a fucking idiot someone made in the snow.”
