Thermos

Released

With the departure of Hamish Kilgour to concentrate on the Mad Scene and other plans, Brent Maclachlan took over on drums for Bailter Space, fully recreating the original Gordons lineup and creating a remarkable second album for the new incarnation, Thermos. Already having achieved a dark, vivid energy on Tanker, Thermos was a further leap forward, avoiding sounding pop as such while creating immediately catchy songs that emphasized bass and created a sense of living under sonic pressure, as on “Fish Eye,” “Fused” and “Earth Fed.”
