Doesn’t seem to have punctured the veil of obscurity but Mr. Beats has made a strong entry into the genre of work established by Dilla and Madlib: neither beat tape nor proper album, Louie floats between stoned tropical loop hammocks and lazy songs and raps. Pure vibes!
