It’s a bit of a cliche to say that some bands are never properly captured in the studio and are best experienced live, even if live albums, by default usually given post-performance touches anyway, can’t properly capture that experience to the full regardless. But Radiohead earned a deserved reputation for bringing their compositions to a new life on the stage, and this collection of 2001 recordings of Kid A and Amnesiac songs, featuring a couple of new arrangements, as well as a solo Thom Yorke performance of “True Love Waits,” gives a sense of their power.
