Influential producer Nellee Hooper and Soul II Soul lynchpin Jazzie B put together an ambitious and fresh album that summed up the highly fertile UK club scene of the mid-90s. It’s often called ‘seminal’ and its blend of rare groove and hip hop beats, slick club-influenced production and the impressive vocals of Caron Wheeler, Rose Windross and the late Do’Reen Waddell was hugely influential in dance music of the 90s.
