The world of quiet and fucked music had a truly healthy year and this sparkling EP of dryer fluff is proof. No idea who Mhm, Mhm is, other than a person from Amsterdam maybe, or maybe Klein, but they have absorbed the digital truth that no soundwave needs to move in sync with any other soundwave. There are moments when this sounds a little like a jazz trio frozen in time and then redistributed along a spatial audio XYZ map to represent the dispersal path of a steam kettle whistle. Other times, it doesn’t.
